Digital Project Manager

Present Company is expanding and on the hunt for an experienced digital project manager to join the design and development team.

As a digital project manager, you will engage with some of the brightest minds in the business, from strategists to developers, to deliver a broad range of digital projects. The role is technical, requiring proficiency in responsive website production and an understanding of how technology can be applied to help achieve business goals.

What you'll be doing as part of our team

  • Scope, monitor and manage end-to-end delivery of digital projects
  • Ensure projects are properly scoped, delivered on time, within budget and to agreed specs
  • Coordinate and prioritise resources in an efficient manner, both internally and client-side
  • Communicate requirements, key project activities, responsibilities and timelines clearly across the broader team
  • Lead internal comms between design, development, strategy, studio and accounts teams
  • Motivate team members to meet project goals, adhere to their responsibilities and project milestones
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Plan and facilitate client workshops
  • Present project plans (and outputs) directly to clients
  • Document detailed quotes, SOWs, project plans and other necessary project artefacts
  • Identify and proactively mitigate against project risks
  • Conduct retrospectives and socialise improved ways of working
  • Continuously identify internal process pain points and propose improvements
  • Report into the senior project manager but run day-to-day operations autonomously

What we’d like to see

  • Demonstrated experience in effectively managing multiple concurrent digital projects from brief through to delivery (minimum 2 years)
  • Proven ability to manage resources, both human and financial, across multiple work streams
  • Experience in a client-facing role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to negotiate with clients
  • Evidence of working with agile project management methodologies
  • Understanding and interest in the core disciplines that a digital agency is comprised of (strategy, UX, UI, development, social, production, media, accounts, creative design)
  • Technical competence with a basic understanding of CMSs, APIs and web frameworks
  • Familiarity with a range of project management software tools
